Volunteers

Volunteering with your community club

Blarney GAA
Volunteers are a welcome addition to our close-knit, historical and vibrant club – in fact we couldn’t run the club without them. We are always keen to welcome more volunteers to our family. We have an array of opportunities for you, across numerous areas throughout the week, where we hope you can bring your multiple skills and energies to better our foundation and keep us moving forward.
Greater Community

Helping out with the Blarney GAA is a rewarding activity that connects people, develops skills and helps us to improve our club and therefore the greater community. We are committed to ensuring that our volunteers are encouraged, supported and well informed. Without their generous assistance, we wouldn’t be able to run as many teams or events as we do.

Help is always needed for carboot sale weekends and matchdays – be it directing traffic, collecting money, lining pitches, helping in the shop, assisting with refreshments or even live score updates on social media and more.
Additionally, we require volunteers for training nights during the week. We seek the services of any volunteer willing to provide assistance in their field of admin, sports admin, communications, marketing, volunteer coordination, social events, education or finances or even if you’re just enthusiastic to help and have the time.
