Club Beag

Blarney GAA Initiative

Club Beag is an initiative to introduce boys and girls aged 3-4 years of age to hurling/football in an informal and fun way. It encourages both children and adults to meet, make new friends, while enjoying sport in a safe & friendly environment.

Club Beag was set up in Blarney GAA Club in 2012 and is becoming increasingly popular.

Are new to the community?

If you are new to the community or not too familiar with GAA, it is a great way to get an insight into our club and become familiar with our facilities, while meeting other parents in a social/enjoyable environment.
The club runs 30-minute sessions once a month on the second Saturday of each month from April – June (July for holidays) and August – October. The sessions take place in the Astro Turf at Blarney GAA grounds.

It is free to join Club Beag!!!

We welcome new members

From May 2021, we will be welcoming new young members – all boys and girls born in 2017. We would be delighted to see new members any time during the year, so don’t worry if earlier sessions were missed.

For further queries, please contact Club Beag’s Chairperson Mairead Rowley on 087 4170690.

We look forward to welcoming you to Club Beag!
