Club Na NÓg End of Year Blitzs 2018-10-11 20:41:00

Blarney / Rathpeacon's fantastic u6 team played a hurling blitz in Ballincollig on a beautiful Saturday morning. The lads were full of confidence after their match with Whitechurch last week and hurled fantastically well against the hosts Ballincollig and Inniscarra. They have made unbelievable progress since the start of the year. Thanks again to all of the coaches and parents.

Meanwhile the Under 7s hit form last Saturday against Ballincollig and Inniscarra in the Ballincollig GAA hurling blitz. In 12 games they won 10 and came very close in the other!!!! It was clear that the Parish Leagues stood to them as against teams of their own age they were that bit stronger - thanks again to all the support and the continued commitment from families and friends. The boys stuck with hurling this week with a blitz in Pairc Ui Chaoimh pencilled in for Saturday.   Well done boys!

Well done to all the Blarney/Rathpeacon u8 players who performed superbly last Saturday afternoon  in the Pairc Ui Chaoimh Football Finale Blitz. 21 players played across 3 teams, and all 9 matches played ended in victory for our lads. Most importantly all players enjoyed playing in the Pairc, and fun was had by all. Thanks again to all the parents for having the lads available to play. We turn the focus back to hurling now for the hurling finals on Saturday week.

Finally our U9s played a football blitz in Ballyanly this morning.   All the players did really well playing great football against tough opposition coming out on top in 2 out of 3 matches.   Thanks to all the parents for bringing their children.
