             Blarney GAA Club Grounds Improvements

The 2010 season really gets into gear this coming weekend in Blarney as our Senior Hurlers play Newtownshandrum in Blarney in the first League match of the year, on Sunday the 14th of March at 12 Noon. It gives us a chance to show our recent works, as we have lengthened the pitch by 7 metres (the same dimensions as Pairc Ui Chaoimh), put in new goalposts which are 5  feet higher than the old ones and put in new dugouts which are now located on the hill side of the pitch. Full credit goes to  Costello Stainless Steel who did the dugouts and Turf Tech who undertook the lengthening of the pitch, and erection of the goalposts. These works compliment the works carried out last year, which included the laying of tarmac to provide 75 car spaces in the vicinty of the Clubhouse and the erection of lighting masts for the Clubhouse car park area. All of this work is testament to Blarney GAA Club's committment  to continue to provide the best facilites!! A big Thank You to all who have helped out in this venture! Please click on the images below and go to the Picture Gallery Page for more pics!! (08/03/2010)
